My goal in 2011 was to run a 5k each month for the year... well that quickly turned into 10ks and in the end I completed a 1/2 marathon in November 2011 after heart surgery in September. It has been an amazing journey that many people don't understand... I mean why pay to run, right? However, I would not change it one bit!
