the weekend

Finally the weekend to enjoy with Montego and Daddy! Montego is almost 3 months and has learned many tricks in the month he has been with us. It is amazing to me how the development of a puppy is a lot like the development of a child. No I am not comparing having a dog to having a baby, but the cognitive development is similar. They both have to figure things out for themselves, for the first time. Enjoying every moment of it!

Jamaica

Last night I had yet another dream about being back in Jamaica. We truly enjoyed our honeymoon at Sandals Montego Bay. I really hope that we can make a trip back sometime soon! Here are some of my many inspirations from Jamaica.

Proud Momma

One thing about me is that I am a proud Momma of an almost 3 month old chocolate lab named Montego. This is like Montego Bay, Jamacia where my husband and I spent our honeymoon last summer. We waited 5 years to get married and it will take awhile before we are ready to add a baby to the mix.

Summer, where is thee?

So around here the weather has been beautiful and then today YUCK... rainy and cold. I love all seasons, but winter it is time to go! Therefore, today I will post pictures I have taken/edited that represent Summertime to me.

Thoughts on Bloggers

I randomly look at other blogs and take in all there is to see... I truly enjoy looking at other people's pictures due to my curiosity. Pictures may not tell the whole story, but they are the window into a world.

After wondering around I noticed a few things that blog writers have in common:

- they are curious
- they are hopeful
- want to matter
- restless
- creative
- different, or want to be
- want to connect
- want away from the normal
- think they have something to say
- travelers, and not always in the physical sense
- thinkers
- more than the norm

It takes a certain type of person to want to blog and that is someone that wants to be "different" and noticed.

I myself fall into that category, life is good however how far can we take it?

I do not know where this may lead me, nor do I know what it will say. However, I hope to be captivating and inspiring. "Aspire to Inspire"

As long as this is productive not destructive I will continue to post and attempt to put into words what my mind is contemplating.

I love photography and do not believe that I am a photographer. I just feel more comfortable behind the camera than in front. Therefore, I will post time to time pictures that inspire me. Again, it may not be amazing and I agree that there are too many "photographers" out there in cyberspace!

I do not believe that I am all knowing nor perfect. I do however take a stance on many subjects and therefore some of what I post may be strongly opinionated. If you agree or agree to disagree I accept other thoughts on any topic.
